ok, we’re keen to book, what should we do?

Head to the contact page and fill out the form letting me know what package you’re after and preferred date, then I’ll get back to you with availability! Once we settle on a date, I will send you an invoice (deposit of $100 to secure your shoot - then the remaining is to be paid within 48 hours prior to your shoot date.)

what should we wear?

I’m all about comfort these days, there is nothing worse than wearing something that isn’t you, so wear whatever feels right! Think textures, neutral colours, if doing a bump shoot both figure hugging and flowy works, dad jeans and a crop to show off that beautiful bump. My only ask is to avoid logo’s, we don’t want to take away from the image! Have everyone wearing something a little different so it’s not too matchy matchy. Bring a few outfits if you like, we can do an outfit change and mix it up a bit. If you need some inspo, I can send you some ideas. If you are doing a maternity shoot, I do have a few robe options if you want to show off your bump during the shoot which I am more than happy to bring along!

where should we shoot?

I’m also about that golden glow so outdoor shoots are my go to. I am based in Manly, and have some favourite locations on the northern beaches, but if you have a spot you’d love to shoot at let me know or if home is where you want to capture your family, we can do that to! 

I also have a small “diy” natural light home studio set up if you are after more of a studio vibe. This is always a good option for fresh newborns as outdoor shoots can be a bit tricky with feeding, outfit changes, etc. I have both black and white backdrops so the choice is yours.

what time of the day should we do the shoot?

Shoots can happen any time of day but typically shoots will be booked as close to sunset as possible to get that beautiful golden light! If you are having an indoor shoot, I like to do those mid morning. Newborn shoots can also be held outside, if you felt comfortable to do that, outdoor newborn shoots are really beautiful!  

when will we receive the online gallery?

I know, I know, no one likes to wait, me included! However, alot of work goes into editing each image, but the full collection will be delivered via an online gallery to your inbox within 2 weeks of the shoot.

what if it rains or someone’s sick?

If it rains the shoot will be rescheduled. If you, or myself is sick we will of course reschedule in that case as well. The last thing I want is for the germs to spread between us all!

do you travel?

Yes, I am happy to travel in surrounding areas if you have somewhere in particular you want the shoot to take place, so please don’t hesitate to ask. There may be additional fees if travel outside of the Northern Beaches.

GUIDANCE

I WILL NOT POSE YOU LIKE YOUR SENIOR PROM, BUT I WILL GIVE YOU HEAPS OF DIRECTION. IF I’M NOT SAYING ANYTHING, IT’S BECAUSE YOU’RE NAILING IT. BUT I DO NOT EXPECT YOU TO FIND THE PRETTIEST LIGHT AND STAND ON THE PRETTIEST ANGLE ALL ON YOUR OWN. WE WANT THE IMAGES TO FEEL ORGANIC BUT THE PROCESS OF GETTING THERE IS WITH A LOT OF GENTLE DIRECTION SO YOU DON’T FEEL LOST OR AWKWARD. I GOT YOU. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS RELAX AND ENJOY BEING WITH PEOPLE THAT YOU LOVE THE MOST IN THE WORLD.
